PRESENTATIONS ON GANDHI, KING, AND FRANCIS BY JIM MCGINNIS

  • Dr. King and the Pledge of Nonviolence, focusing on escalating kindness and service, forgiveness, and courage in challenging the "giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism;" combined with an appreciation of how Dr. King had to overcome his fears and with Jim’s own involvement with Dr. King.  For youth and adults.

  • Gandhi and the Pledge of Nonviolence, focusing on service, simplicity of life-style, and noncooperation with injustice; combined with an appreciation of Gandhi’s fears and how he "became" Gandhi by a life-long series of "experiments with truth" and Jim’s own experience with Gandhi and his colleagues.  For youth and adults.

  • A Dramatization of the Life of Francis of Assisi (an interactive performance by Jim McGinnis for high schools, youth groups, universities, and faith communities.)

  • Francis the Clown presentations on Francis of Assisi and the Pledge of Nonviolence for Elementary Schools.
