Kids Creating Circles of Peace

An activity book for kids (K-5) to help them live as peacemakers.

  • Helps young people live the Pledge of Nonviolence.

  • Lots of suggested activities for parents, teachers, and counselors

  • Recommended books and videos that reinforce the values they are learning.

Kids Creating Circles of Peace is a book of real-life "story starters," some presented in cartoon format, which the children complete.   These, plus their own stories, help kids deal with difficult, challenging and sometimes violent situations.

It's an invaluable resource for families, schools (public or private), religious education programs, day or residential camp programs, or any other children's programs seeking to promote caring, respect, and peaceful living.

Through the stories, kids learn ways to:

  • Respect themselves and others

  • Share feelings honestly, express anger safely, solve problems peacefully

  • Listen better and consider others feelings and needs

  • Forgive and keep from holding grudges

  • Care for the earth

  • Find alternatives to violent entertainment and play

  • Challenge violence when they encounter it.
